Dr. Albert DeMers Obituary

Dr Albert DeMers was the founder of DeMers Sparks Optical which later became DeMers Family Vision Group, Inc. Dr Albert was passionate about Optometry and loved each of his patients. He passed away unexpectedly  in October of 2008.

Dr. Leslie is the wife of Dr. Scott DeMers. She enjoys seeing pediatric patients, fitting contact lenses, and assisting low vision patients. She graduated with Dr. Scott DeMers from the Southern California College of Optometry with honors and was also a member of the Optometric Honor Society. Her hobbies include running and hiking. Both Dr. Scott and Dr. Leslie DeMers have two toy Maltese dogs named Mickey and Chanel.

Dr. Scott is the grandson of Dr. Albert DeMers. He was born in Reno, NV and raised in Arizona where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Physiology from the University of Arizona. He graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry where he graduated with honors and was a member of the Optometric Honor Society. His optometric interests include glaucoma and other ocular diseases as well as contact lenses. Outside of the office he enjoys playing golf and snowboarding.
